A Cargo Gap Mat? So you fold down your rear seats in your Jeep JKU, throw all your stuff in (including the family chihuahua) only to find out later some of your stuff is missing or your pet has disappeared! I am referring to that large gap that appears when the seat is folded down. Have no fear, the Cargo Gap Mat is here! It even works great for you Jeep owners that let your pets run around in the back when the seats are folded down. No more plywood, or blankets stuffed in the gap.
This simple, yet functional insert, installs in about 5 minutes with a T-30 Torx. It bolts in using your existing cargo hooks (which remain functional) and then Velcro secures it to the back of the rear seats (your rear seats must be cloth backed as shown in picture). Once in place you can leave it in place and still fold your seat(s) up and down. Simply unzip and then you can fold one or both seats. When both seats are folded down, just zip it up to create one continuous cover. The Cargo Gap Mat is about 40 inches wide so it covers the majority of the gap.
The Cargo Gap Mat is manufactured from rubber backed cut pile automotive carpet. All edges are nylon bound, a durable single pull plastic zipper is integrated, brass grommets provide solid mounting points, and the Velcro is sewn into the backside for anchoring to back of seat.

Just installed this in my 2016 JKU and it’s excellent. Takes less then 10 mins to install and it works perfect. I had a big ugly mat that was a pita to use! Those spaces between the rear seats when folded down are dangerous to your dogs. This covers them perfect and looks good doing it. If you have to protect your dogs legs or something don’t want things falling down between the seats this is your product.
